
Ingredients:
- Onion: 1 (finely chopped)
- Butter or Ghee: 1 oz
- Dry mustard: ½ teaspoon
- Ground turmeric: 1 tspoon
- Garlic powder: ¼ tspoon
- Ground ginger: ½ tspoon
- Chili powder: ½ tspoon
- Cauliflower: 1 medium size, divided into florets
- Garam masala: 1 tspoon
- Salt to taste
Method:
- Fry the onion in the butter or ghee until it is golden brown
- Add all the spices, except the garam masala . add salt to taste, stir well and cook for 2 minutes
- Then add the cauliflower and 3 tbspoon (1/4 cup) water
- Cook, cover, over low heat
- Then cauliflower is just tender, sprinkle the garam masala
- Cook for further 5 minutes.
