Fresh onion chutney

Gand Chetin – Kashmiri Onion Chutney – Food For The Soul

Ingredients:

  • Onions:  3 thinly sliced
  • Salt to taste
  • Chili powder: ½ teaspoon
  • Few drops of vinegar or lemon juice

Method:

  • Sprinkle the sliced onions with salt and leave for 3-4 minutes
  • Then rinse and drain
  • Add the chili powder, a few drops of vinegar or lemon juice and salt
  • Toss the onions to coat thoroughly
