BESAN BURFI

INGREDIENTS:

  • Ragi/Singhada/Rice flour/Besan: 1 bowl
  • Jiggery: ½ bowl
  • Groundnut: ½ bowl
  • Ripe papaya: 3 tsp
  • Water: 1 cup

METHOD

  • Roast groundnuts, remove red skin and grind to a fine powder.
  • Roast besan flour.
  • Prepare jiggery syrup using 1 cup water.
  • Add roasted groundnut powder and besan flour.
  • Cook along with mashed ripe papaya.
  • Before cooling spread it on a flat bottom plate.
  • Cut into equal pieces.
  • You can also garnish with almonds and cashews.
